Kim Rocks! She takes time to explain and educate patients on options. She understands hearing issues and changed my life in one day with her perceptive approach, when others I had visited would not give me the time of day because of my insurance plan. I have dealt with about 6 audiologists in approx 11 years and she is the best by far! I highly recommend Kim Stout!
I have now been using my new ReSound LiNX2 Hearing Aids for about six months, and I could not be more pleased with them. This is my third set of hearing aids in about 16 years, and the technological improvements are nothing short of astounding. These new ones provide crisp and clear sound that is easily adjusted with an app on my iPhone for different listening conditions. Best of all, they are Bluetooth enabled, which enables me to pair them directly with my iPhone and with a TV streaming device. So for the first time in 16 years, I can hear both my cell phone and the TV with clarity and with independent volume control. They came with a comprehensive three year warranty, and the service I received from The Audiology Offices was excellent. I recommend them without reservation.
If you are faced with loss of hearing and don’t know the best place to go for help, let me put your mind at ease. I faced the same earlier this year. The Audiology Offices have without question top notch, professional staff who are friendly and understanding of your situation. There is no hard core selling with Ann or Janie. They realize it may take months before you feel comfortable. They answered many questions my husband and I had as well as fitting me with demo hearing aids. Their dedication is to make sure you are satisfied. After all, it’s a big investment and they will continue to work with you until you are. I was surprised and pleased to find the visits, demos and a quality warranty were included in the price. They also have convenient offices in Mathews, Kilmarnock, Warsaw and Gloucester. There’s really no reason to wait – you will not find a better place to get help!
Once I realized that I was saying “what” and “say again” too often to family and friends, didn’t always understand even when I could hear someone, and my wife complaining the TV was too loud – it was time to do something. The answer was not having everyone else speak louder and clearer, the answer was tuning adjustment on my audio reception system – ears and such. I have two neighbors who have hearing aids and they both had referred me to your office. I trusted their recommendations and made an appointment. After having done some research I realized that what I was looking for was not hearing aids but a hearing improvement solution. From the research I had found that there were many places and ways to get hearing “aids”, hearing “solutions” required working with a hearing professional who did the right assessment of my needs as well as helping me select the right product for correction. More importantly however was not the selling of the aid but the quality of the fit and corrective adjustments that followed after procurement. Dr. Ann DePaolo’s approach to making sure that the aids were set up for my particular hearing losses as well as multiple fine-tunings to get them to where they felt just right for me is what made the difference. My interactions with Ann and her staff have been very satisfactory and I’m pleased that I did not succumb to some of the full-page hearing aid ads in the newspapers. I’ve recommended the Audiology Offices to three friends who are now also satisfied clients. I thank you for the quality of the solution you have provided for me. I have been wearing hearing aids since 1984. In 2008 I moved to Gloucester, VA from Long Island, NY. At that time I was having a lot of problems with my hearing aid needing constant repair. Ann and her assistant Janie helped to facilitate the repairs, but there was only so much they could do. In July of 2009, I took advantage of some new hearing aid technology and was fitted with new devices. The devices are Bluetooth compatible, which allows me to hear clearly with my cell phone. Television viewing is great with the Bluetooth adaptor. These are the best hearing aids I have ever had, and the professionals at the Audiology Offices are there when ever I need a cleaning or check up.
My name is Allison. I am 15 years old and I wear hearing aids. I’ve had a hearing problem since I was really little, so I’ve been wearing my hearing aids practically my entire life. They’ve never really given me a problem and I like to wear them so I can hear better. I have been wearing hearing aids for 10 plus years. Without them I can’t hear worth a darn and people would have to yell at me. I have been a patient of the Audiology Offices in their Gloucester location ever since I moved to the area in 2005. You are not treated like a number (as you are in those box type stores), but rather Ann, Linda and Janie treat you like a friend, with very professional service. They even laugh at my jokes. If my hearing aids need to be send for factory service the turn around is very fast. If need be, I can stop in anytime for a special cleaning.

You fitted me for my first hearing aid in 2005 when I was 75 years old. Old dogs don’t like new tricks, but you steered me through this stressful period and prompted me until I was acclimated to this big change in life. This year we upgraded to the new hearing aids and the Bluetooth Streamer. I am delighted! I like the sound volume control in my pocket. When I am in the Wellness Center I use the streamer, and it blocks out the exterior sounds so I can hear TV while on the tread-mill.
I can not thank you enough for the wonderful response by you and your staff to my minor problems: i.e. when I lost my streamer wire or have a little wax in the ear tube.
